Sheriff Samual Scott Page is a 1975 graduate of Reidsville High School in Rockingham County. After graduating from high school, Sam enlisted in the United States Air Force and served from 1975 to 1980 as a Security Forces K-9 handler.
After serving in the Air Force, Sam returned home and began his
distinguished career in law enforcement. Sam first started his career with the Eden Police Department as a detective. He also served as a patrolman and administrator before his run for Sheriff.
In 1998, Sam was elected to his first term as the Sheriff of Rockingham County. Since his first election, Sam has committed himself to serving and protecting the citizens of Rockingham County.
In 2010, Sam served as President of the North Carolina Sheriff’s
Association. In this role, Sam was able to make connections with the other 99 Sheriffs across the state and hear and see firsthand the issues facing this State.
Sheriff Sam Page has gone above and beyond in tackling criminal justice challenges on the highest levels in our country.
His passion towards enhancing officer safety measures, ensuring a transparent justice system, and a community-driven approach to diverting nonviolent offenders away from the cycle of incarceration, prioritizing their rehabilitation, and successful reintegration into society, has made him a highly respected figure in law enforcement across North Carolina and our country.

Sheriff Page lead the Sheriffs for Trump movement in 2016 and served as the Chairman of the North Carolina Donald J. Trump for President campaign in 2020. His leadership and effective approach in reaching out to voters resulted in an overwhelming victory for Republicans across the state and was critical in the election of President Trump.
He has been a vocal advocate of solving the border crisis, fighting drug/human trafficking, ensuring transparency in government, and protecting families across North Carolina. Sam is also passionate about supporting veterans and first responders.
With over 30 years of experience in law enforcement, spanning from his time in military service to his time as Sheriff, and time as a leader of both conservative movements and values, Sheriff Page is uniquely qualified to be North Carolina’s next Lieutenant Governor!
